The economic impact of Robins Air Force Base will be the topic of discussion at the next Robins Regional Business Forum, according to a news release from the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce. The event will be at noon July 9 at the chamber, 1228 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins.
Guest speakers for the event will include Amy Hudnall, associate director at the Center of Innovation for Aerospace and Georgia Department of Economic Development; Ralph Nix, executive director of Middle Georgia Regional Commission; and Mary Therese Tebbe, executive director of 21st Century Partnership.
“With the arrival of the U.S. Marines to Robins Air Force Base and with our being short-listed as one of six possible sites for the MC-12 program, the topic of economic impact is a timely one,” said Bruce Hullett, the chamber’s vice chairman for business development. “The economic impact of Robins is a story we need to keep telling over and over.”
The cost of the event is $12 for chamber members and $25 for non-members. To RSVP, e-mail Donna Scott at firstname.lastname@example.org or register online at www.warner-robins.com. Registration deadline is July 6. Lunch will be provided.
