The Robins Chamber of Commerce is looking for the best of the best businesses.
The chamber is seeking nominations for its annual Business Excellence Awards, according to a chamber newsletter. The awards are designed to recognize “excellence in the business community.”
The deadline to submit nominations is Friday.
The candidates are nominated by customers, vendors and peers, or a member may self-nominate, the newsletter said. The chamber will contact the nominees for additional information for the competition. A small business of the year will be selected and additional business categories may also be awarded. The awards will be announced and presented during the Pinnacle Awards program held in January.
To be eligible for consideration, the business must meet the certain criteria, including: it must be in business and a member in good standing of the chamber; show sales growth, profit growth, new product line and expanding number of employees; be considered successful by peers; show evidence of outstanding community services contribution or involvement; and be a privately owned, for-profit entity.
Previous nominees are eligible to be nominated; however, a new nomination must be submitted for the current chamber year. To nominate a business, go to www.warnerrobins.chambermaster.com/form/view/8078.
