Virginia College in Macon is holding an enrollment event for prospective students and their families this weekend.
The “Go for the Gold” event will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at 1901 Paul Walsh Drive, off Eisenhower Parkway. The event is free with no obligations.
Admission counselors will be on hand to talk about careers best-suited to a potential student’s skills and interests. Also, attendees could learn about the application and enrollment process, tour the campus and meet faculty, students and staff.
Programs being offered are business administration, massage therapy, network technician, cosmetology and several medical-related courses such as medical assistant, pharmacy technician, billing and coding.

Family activities include a car show, flea market and hot dog cookout.
The event is part of Virginia College parent company Education Corporation of America’s national enrollment event being held simultaneously at its 64 other institutions located in 16 states.
Virginia College opened its campus in 2010 in former Kmart building.
