A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint while walking at Tattnall Square Park early Monday morning, according to Macon police.
The man and woman told police they were walking around the park at about 12:22 a.m. and decided to cut through the park to return to the woman’s vehicle. Two men with a gun robbed them at the intersection of Adams Street and College Street, according to a police report.
Both robbers are described as being black. One had a “low” haircut and wore black pants and a shirt. The other man was light skinned, wore his hair in braids and was wearing a white shirt with gray pants or shorts, according to the report.
The men took the woman’s purse, a cell phone and $10, police say.
