firstname.lastname@example.orgA Macon man is facing aggravated assault charges after allegedly shooting at his wife while she was in a car with two other people, according to a Macon Police Department release.
Joe Ballard is charged with aggravated assault family violence, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. Friday on Virginia Avenue. Witnesses stated Ballard fired at the car, and police found a bullet hole in the windshield along with shell casings.
A lookout was posted for the vehicle Ballard was in, and he was found on Triple Hill Drive after Bibb County deputies spotted the car.
