Country singer Merle Haggard is recovering from pneumonia in a Macon hospital after canceling his concert Tuesday night at the Macon City Auditorium.
Haggard, 74, is reportedly being treated in the Georgia Heart Center of the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
His tour bus was parked outside the heart tower Wednesday afternoon.
Promoter Mike Blackwell said Wednesday night's scheduled concert at the Columbus Civic Center also has been canceled.
All of his January tour dates have been postponed, said publicist Tresa Redburn, who spoke to Haggard Wednesday morning.
"He's in good spirits," Redburn said.
Haggard has been ill since leaving his home in Northern California last week, said tour manager Frank Mull.
He also canceled Sunday's concert in Columbia, S.C.
The Macon cancellation came just seven minutes before the start of the 7:30 show, but another performance has been scheduled for April 25.
All tickets purchased for Tuesday's performance in Macon will be honored at the April event, but anyone seeking a refund should contact their point of purchase, according to a news release.
