Bibb County grand jurors have indicted a Macon man and woman in the Nov. 7 armed robbery of a manager of the Pizza Hut on Spring Street.
Maurice Antonio Cobb, a 24-year-old recently fired employee, and 25-year-old Latonya Lashay Wilson are charged with armed robbery, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court Tuesday.
Cobb is accused of hitting the manager in the head with a baseball bat before taking the restaurant’s bank bag about 9:40 a.m. The manager suffered a fractured skull, according to Macon police.
Cobb and Wilson, of the same Finneydale Drive address, are being held at the Bibb County jail, according to jail records.
