Plenty to do in Macon this New Year’s Eve

As 2011 gives way to 2012, there won’t be any shortage of ways to ring in the new year in Macon. While the Cherry Blossom Ball Drop will be the centerpiece of the downtown festivities, dances and a fireworks display are also on tap for New Year’s Eve revelers.
