ATLANTA -- Police say a Canadian teenager who disappeared from Atlanta’s airport and turned up in Middle Georgia is back home in Canada.
Bibb County sheriff’s Sgt. Sean Defoe told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution a relative who lives in Georgia picked up 18-year-old Eustace Victor Martin about 9 p.m. Friday.
The relative took Martin to Atlanta’s airport, where his mother met him. The two then flew to Canada.
Martin was reported missing May 28 when he was flying from St. Kitts in the Caribbean back to Vancouver, British Columbia, and failed to board a plane in Atlanta.
Never miss a local story.
Defoe says Martin apparently left the airport and took a bus to Macon, where he was found Friday morning when he knocked on the door of a house near the wooded area where he’d been staying.
