What are your future plans?: “Well, I’m not interested in owning a salon. I don’t want that kind of overhead. I just want to stay downtown. I love it here. I just like staying busy.”
What are your favorite places/things to do in the area?: “The Hummingbird (430 Cherry St.) and B.J.s (430 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.).” Kersey hosts karaoke events at the Hummingbird on Tuesdays and BJ’s on Wednesdays.
“I see a lot of my clients there,” he said. “I eat a lot at Tic Toc (408 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.) I like every place downtown. ... I look forward to Second Sunday Brunch every month. ... My new favorite thing to do is going down the (Ocmulgee) River.”
