A man living in Lake Wildwood who choked a dog that attacked him Sunday night said the same dog attacked again Wednesday morning.
Anthony Dziadul, 68, told Bibb County sheriff’s deputies a light-brown pit bull attempted to bite him while he was walking with his wife and dog on Ahwenasa Trail in Lake Wildwood about 10:30 a.m.
The pit bull ran at the couple from a front porch in the 1100 block of Ahwenasa Trail, exhibiting aggressive behavior, he said. After Dziadul hit the dog twice with a golf club, it returned to its yard, according to a sheriff’s report.
Bibb County Chief Deputy David Davis said no one was injured during the Wednesday incident.
Never miss a local story.
Davis said the owner of the pit bull, Suleman Hill, was cited for violating Bibb County’s leash law.
Dziadul said the dog was the same one that attacked him Sunday night on the same street. Davis said Dziadul originally identified the dog as a Rottweiler but later identified him as a pit bull when Animal Control responded.
Davis said the dog could be impounded if Hill violates the leash law again, because of the previous citation and the suspicion that the dog attacked Dziadul. He also said both attacks would be taken into consideration when leash law case is heard in court July 9.
