JEFFERSONVILLE — A Warner Robins man pulled over for speeding in Twiggs County early Tuesday now faces robbery charges in Bibb County, authorities said.
Twiggs County deputies arrested Xavier Kyle Jackson, 43, and charged him with fleeing, eluding police, speeding and other traffic violations, Twiggs County Sheriff Darren Mitchum said.
A woman in the car with Jackson, Tabitha Wilcox, 36, of Jeffersonville, was charged with disorderly conduct.
Jackson will be taken back to Macon, where he will face two counts of robbery by intimidation and one count of robbery by snatching, Macon police said.

He also is being charged with a parole violation.
Macon police Detective Neal Moore said Jackson robbed a Circle K store on Riverside Drive on Monday and Tuesday and a Flash Foods store on Vineville Avenue on Tuesday, stealing cigarettes.
Convenience store videos show Jackson using a gun to rob the stores. Macon police chased Jackson early Tuesday morning, but they backed off because of safety concerns for civilians and officers.
Dispatchers alerted Twiggs County deputies that Jackson was headed through the county on Interstate 16.
Deputy Paul Cumpton spotted the vehicle and gave chase after Jackson failed to stop, according to a report.
Jackson exceeded speeds of 100 mph and drove on both sides of the road as he headed toward Ga. 96, on the way to Houston County.
Houston County sheriff’s deputies were alerted to the chase and had officers set up at the county line.
Jackson’s vehicle ran out of gas, and he was taken into custody without incident, officials said.
