Recent snow damaged a section of Ga. 57 near Irwinton, causing authorities to close off the road until repairs can be made.
The Wilkinson County 911 dispatch service said the closed road stretches from Dedrick Road to Wilkinson County High School, located near J.R. Sims Road.
The road was closed Saturday afternoon.
