WARNER ROBINS — A teenager was shot Sunday night while sitting in a car in the 100 block of Hudson Street in Warner Robins, police said.
Dajohn Milton, 17, of Warner Robins, was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, where he underwent surgery, said Tabitha Pugh, public information officer for Warner Robins police. Milton was shot once in the upper torso., Pugh said. He was listed Monday in critical but stable condition in intensive care, Pugh said.
The suspected shooter was described as a black male, between the ages of 15 and 20 and standing 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall.
Milton was sitting in the car with two males when the suspect came over to the car, Pugh said. Milton and the suspect argued and the suspect fired into the car, striking Milton, according to Pugh and a Warner Robins police news release. The reason for the argument was not known but the shooting was not believed to have been drug or gang related, Pugh said.

Houston Medical Center notified Warner Robins police about 7 p.m. Sunday that a shooting victim was being treated in the emergency room, the release said.
