The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission dismissed a discrimination complaint against the Warner Robins Police Department on Monday.
The initial charge of discrimination was filed by Sandra J. Solari on Nov. 4, 2008. In the complaint, Solari alleged she was subjected to “a hostile work environment due to” her disability, and was placed on administrative leave in July of 2008. The complaint states that “as a result of the unceasing harassment,” Solari was forced to resign.
In the dismissal, the EEOC states that it was “unable to conlude that the information obtained establishes” any violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The dismissal also notes that Solari has the right to sue, but must file the lawsuit within 90 days of receiving the EEOC’s notice.
