Macon police are investigating their second homicide in eight hours.
William Leon King, 34, of 2140 Ingleside Ave., was stabbed to death early this morning at a house in the 4000 block of Marion Avenue in Lynmore Estates near Macon's industrial sector, said Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.
King was stabbed at 12:34 a.m. but was pronounced dead at 1:30 a.m. at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, Jones said.
The same trauma team pronounced 29-year-old Travis Briscoe dead of gunshot wounds at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, he said.

Briscoe was shot during an apparent home invasion in the 1100 block of Boulevard in east Macon.
King's death marked the 16th homicide in the city this year.
Autopsies are scheduled on both men later today, Jones said.
