Warner Robins police are advising drivers to avoid the intersection of Watson Boulevard and Davis Drive after a waterline break Tuesday.
Utility and public works crews are expected to be on site this morning, Warner Robins Utilities Director Montie Walters said.A rubber gasket blew on the 16-inch pipe, which initially flooded the intersection, Walters said.
The water line was nearly repaired late Tuesday, but a nearby sewer line as well as the integrity of the roads are expected to be checked this morning, Walters said. Repairs also are expected to Davis Drive where the road was dug up.
A handful of businesses were without water in about a one-block radius of the waterline break, Walters said.
