A Macon man was killed and two other people injured in a two-vehicle wreck late Tuesday on Mercer University Drive near Macon Memorial Gardens.
Jervonnie Jackson, 35, of Scotland Avenue, was driving a red 2004 Dodge Neon when the vehicles crashed and he was killed, Bibb County coroner Leon Jones said.
Jackson suffered massive internal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:45 p.m., Jones said.
Chalandre Outlaw, 24, of Cumberland Drive, the driver of a gray 2000 Chevy Impala and her passenger 25-year-old Andre Davis, 25, of Rocky Creek Road, were transported to The Medical Center of Central Georgia with injuries, Jones said.

They each were listed in stable condition following the accident, according to authorities.
Jones said Outlaw became trapped in her vehicle for more than 25 minutes after the wreck and had to be extracted by members of the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department.
Everyone involved in the wreck was wearing a safety belt, Jones said.The incident remains under investigation by a fatality investigator with the Macon Police Department.
