Former Baldwin head coach Jesse Hicks is expected to be named the head football coach at Central on Thursday, according to Bibb County board of education documents.

The Stratford girls basketball head coach found an affirmative answer Tuesday when his Eaglettes outlasted Mount de Sales 43-40 in double-overtime of the GISA Region 2-AAA tournament semifinals. Stratford will host Arlington Christian at 7 p.m. on Friday in the region championship game.
