The Macon Water Authority experienced a 75,000 gallon sewage spill Nov. 10 at the dead end of Lennox Drive because of a manhole being underwater during last week’s heavy rains. Sewage no longer is escaping.

Debris was removed from the area, and the area was disinfected with lime, according to a water authority report.

The Corbin lift station is being rehabilitated to prevent future spills.
