A 33-year-old Macon man was shot in the leg early Monday morning while driving on Montpelier Avenue at the Pansy Avenue intersection, according to the Macon police.

Sylester Dugger told officers he turned out of the M&M Food Mart just before 1 a.m. and heard two or three gunshots. He noticed he’d been shot in the leg while driving on Pansy Avenue, according to a police report.

Police officers recovered a spent round from inside Dugger’s car. Dugger told police he didn’t know who shot him, according to the report.
