Window shattered after shots fired at car in Macon

Shots were fired at a moving car on Pierce Avenue at about 2 a.m. Friday, according to Macon police.

Two men told officers they were driving southbound on Pierce Avenue near North Pierce Avenue when a vehicle behind them started shooting at them, according to a police report.

A window in the men’s 1979 Oldsmobile was shattered and it was damaged by several bullet holes, according to the report.

The men were unable to give a description of the other vehicle or the shooters.
