Cast announced for Karen Black play

Producers for the play “Missouri Waltz,” written by and starring Academy Award nominee Karen Black, announced the rest of the cast for the show, which will play at the Cox Capitol Theatre from Sept. 18-26.

The play is being directed by Sylvia Haynie, who also will be co-starring as Bea, the sister of Black’s character, Chrissie. Other Middle Georgians rounding out the cast are Tom Morris, Denver Pickard and Mercer University student Abigail Howd. The play features songs from Grammy-nominated artist Harriet Schock.
