Most precious Jesus, you are our light to show us the way, even in our darkest hour. You forgive us when we stray along life’s journey. There is no place so far, so deep, or so unthinkable, that you will not reach out to bring us into your loving arms. You are with the sick, the little ones, those who are challenged and the lonely in your kingdom. We should learn from you, Lord, and be more like you. As you have taught us to love one another and to love our neighbor, we can see the need to fulfill this role. Thank you for loving us even when we forget to simply love in your way. Amen.
