O Lord, even as our lives return to normal, we must never let our guard down nor forget what happened on Sept. 11 and other tragedies in which they have inflicted upon American civilians in our own country. To remember will remind us to pray like we have never prayed before. In other words, if the memories of that day can inspire the American people to become prayer warriors strong enough to turn this nation toward the Holy Spirit, God, then the thousands of victims of that dark morning will not have died in vain. Amen.
