Dear Father God, what can we give to you in return for the awesome gift you gave us in your Son, Emmanuel? The living bread that came, lived, ministered and died that we might have eternal life. Our own lives seem to be too little to repay for what he’s done and our hearts are deceitful at times leading us astray. So, Lord God, we pray that you will accept and perfect both our lives and our hearts so that one day we will be able to stand before your throne and say “thank you”. John 14:6.
