Dear Lord, I want to thank you for allowing my family and my friends to stay by my side all of these years I’ve been incarcerated. And I want to thank you for bringing me to you. I had been running away from you all of my life. I don’t know exactly when I stopped running so you could embrace me, but I’m glad you got my attention. I want to keep focussed on you. Amen.
