O God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob, here I am after all of these years, standing only because you have lifted me onto higher ground. Throughout many dangers, hardships and great losses, you have remained the same loving and healing Lord of yesterday, today, tomorrow and forevermore.
You have prepared a place for me and have invited me to your table of love, grace, forgiveness, peace and hope. You have anointed my life with your holy oil of promise. My cup is filled and running over. O God of the morning, the full of day and the fall of night, your humble servant offers this prayer in your mighty and holy name. Amen.
