Dear attentive God, last week, I asked you to humble me. Things are going well with me and historically, that’s when matters can easily fall apart. Thank you so very much that you not only heard my prayer, but you answered it the next evening. For as I was in a relaxed fashion doing yard work the next evening, someone came to my house and shattered my peace and serenity. Pondering this the next morning, I was indeed grateful that you had answered my prayer. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
