Aztec world artichoke-crab dip
1 pound snow crab meat
6 ounces frozen artichoke hearts, thawed
1/2 cup cooked black beans

1/4 cup heavy cream
4 ounces (1 cup) shredded mozzarella cheese
4 ounces (1 cup) shredded Monterey jack cheese
2 teaspoons salt, or to taste
2 teaspoons ground pepper, or to taste
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon chopped shallots
2 ounces chopped spinach (about 1/2 cup packed fresh leaves)
Makes about 3 cups.
Shred crab into a medium saucepan. Add the artichoke hearts, beans, cream, cheeses, salt, pepper, garlic, Worcestershire, shallots and spinach. Bring to a slow boil over medium-low heat, stirring often to keep mixture from becoming a lumpy mass. (Or place in a microwave-safe bowl and heat through at medium power, about 5 minutes.) Serve warm.
