PRIME TIME PRESCHOOL
Peach Public Libraries is seeking families with children ages 3-5 to participate in a series of programs focusing on literacy acquisition and early literacy skills. Parents of preschoolers will learn how to book-share with their children, how to ask questions that encourage critical thinking, how to make reading enjoyable and relevant, and how to encourage children to internalize a love of learning. A series of six programs will be offered each Tuesday evening at Byron Public Library beginning in March. A second series of six programs will be offered each Monday evening at Thomas Public Library beginning in late April. During each program, each family will receive a free books.
