1 quart passionfruit juice cocktail (refrigerated juice section of the grocery store)
1/3 cup maraschino cherry syrup
1 (750 ml) bottle Champagne or Asti Spumante, chilled

Makes about a half gallon.
In a large pitcher combine passionfruit juice cocktail and cherry syrup. Stir to blend. Slowly pour the Champagne down the side of the pitcher (to reduce foam). Stir VERY gently to blend. Pour in Champagne flutes.
