Fans of the Allman Brothers Band are no doubt very familiar with the Tedeschi Trucks Band since Derek Trucks is the nephew of drummer Butch Trucks. The blues rock band, husband and wife team of Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, won a Grammy award for Best Blues Album in 2012 for their debut album, “Revelator.” All ages. Jazz lovers in Macon may feel like they don’t see live Jazz in Macon often enough. Well, this Corner Concepts event is a must see for jazz-heads. The Macon Pops Jazz Quartet features Matt Catingub on piano and vocals, Steve Moretti on drums, Billy Thornton on bass, and Joe Gransden on trumpet. 18 and up. 7:30 p.m. $25 adults, $15 students.

This band from Statesboro is the real deal when it comes to some of the best soul and funk music getting made in Georgia right now. They started out as a four-piece with a solid rhythm section. Now, they are a seven-piece band complete with a horn section. Those Cats are a must see for lovers of soul and jazz. 18 and up. 10 p.m. $5.

Macon Pops proves that an orchestra performance can be fun and even make you dance. Band leaders Matt Catingub and Steve Moretti have dubbed this performance “The Music of Macon.” This night will be filled with Macon’s music of the past as well as from Macon’s musicians of today. Special guest performers include Chuck Leavell, Jimmy Hall, Floco Torres, Daniel NeSmith of Back City Woods, Louis Warren and many more. All ages. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. $10 balcony seats.
