It's a good news/bad news deal for Christina Stefano Wood.
The good news: The former Maconite doesn't have the ugliest couch in America.
The bad news: Because her couch wasn't voted the ugliest out of three finalists by the studio audience of "Live With Regis & Kelly" Tuesday, she didn't win the grand prize of $5,000 and a set of furniture coverings from Sure Fit, the company that sponsored the contest.
"It was actually a lot of fun," said Wood, who appeared on Tuesday's live show with the couch in question. "I didn't get real nervous until just before I went on stage. Of course, (losing) was disappointing, but it was a great experience and a free trip to New York. It was a lot of fun."
Sylvia Stern of Pennsylvania won the contest with a lime-green/paisley sectional couch.
