A small memorial to Staff Sergeant Alex French sets in Miranda French's living room Friday afternoon. The family was accepting visitors that wanted to stop by and offer condolences during an open house. Funeral services for Staff Sergeant Alex French IV will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, October 10, 2009 from the Baldwin High School Gymnasium, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment will follow in Scenic Memorial Gardens. -SSG French, of the Georgia Army National Guard's 48th Brigade, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in Afghanistan.
