In this copy of a photo made by accident investigators in March 2007, the inside of the 2000 Jeep Cherokee Jimmie Davis was driving is shown after he was rear-ended in Sumter County and the vehicle rolled over. Davis' wife, Lounelle, said weak roof construction that doesn't protect passengers if the vehicle rolls is why her husband died in the wreck. A New York bankruptcy court has said the new Chrysler corporation that the government has bailed out will not have to pay claims like those brought by Davis.
