Some of Carol Garland's third grade students help her sort her books from those belonging to the school in her class at Robins Elementary School on Robins Air Force Base on Friday morning. Garland spent all but one of her 39 years as a teacher at Robins Elementary School on Robins Air Force Base. The school, which opened in 1964, closed Friday.
