Macon police investigate beating of man

Macon police are investigating the Friday morning beating of a Macon man found in a parking lot of a Shurling Drive nightclub, according to a report.

According to the report, police dispatchers were called around 3 a.m. and were told the victim was being beaten by three other men. When officers arrived at the scene, the victim was unconscious in the parking lot of Studio 32.

The victim, who had multiple welts on his head and face, was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia, where he was diagnosed with bleeding in his brain. The management of Studio 32 told police the club was closed at the time of the incident.
