Kathleen man wins $100,000 in lottery game

Jeffrey Ryals, of Kathleen, picked up his $100,000 lottery winnings Thursday in Macon.

Kathleen’s Jeffrey Ryals is ready to buy a new car, or maybe two.

The grocery store produce manager won $100,000 in the Georgia Lottery’s Million $$ Match instant game, according to a lottery news release.

Ryals, 59, bought the ticket at the Kroger where he works on Ga. 96 in Bonaire and claimed his prize Thursday in Macon.

“I almost fell out,” Ryals said. “I’m overjoyed. I think I’m dreaming.”

He and his wife, Pam, have two adult children.
