Prayer for today (7/17/14)

July 17, 2014

Heavenly Father, summertime is a wonderful time to reflect on the warmth of your love. We are reminded daily how much you love us. To be able to get out of bed and see the sunrise is such a blessing. Lord, we thank you for your kindness for each day of our lives whether the days be winter, spring or fall. You, our Lord, created it all. Give us repentant hearts for taking so much for granted. Bless us with a positive attitude that others would see Jesus in us. Give us the right words to say, the right gestures to make to bring peace to every situation we may face today. We will honor you and give you all of the praise. Thank You for summer, dear Lord, and thank you for all the days of our lives. Amen.
