Centerville man dies in motorcycle crash

A Centerville man died in a motorcycle accident Friday.

Ronald Reitz, 55, was traveling south on Heritage Drive on a 2008 Harley Davidson when the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a brick culvert, according to a Houston County Sheriff’s Office release. The accident happened at about 5:30 p.m.

Reitz was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia, where he was later pronounced dead.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call Deputy Paul Cumpton at 542-2080.
