Brothers arrested in joint Bibb, Monroe drug bust

Drug investigators from Bibb and Monroe counties worked together to arrest two brothers accused of drug trafficking Thursday night.

Christian Andrew Kennington, 21, and Miles Peyton Kennington, who live together on Hampton Ridge Road, were charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute, trafficking of Schedule I drugs, possessing Schedule II drugs with intent to distribute and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The search warrant of their home netted about 19 ounces of marijuana, 78 grams of psyilocybin or mushrooms, Ecstacy, other suspected illegal drugs, a pistol and cash.

Investigators also found evident of an indoor marijuana growing operation, bags and scales.
