Bibb County grand jurors have indicted a man who allegedly wore an orange "Perry the Platypus" cartoon character hat during a 2013 motel office robbery.

Keyonne Montago Finnell, 26, is charged with armed robbery, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court.

Witnesses have said a man with long dreadlocks, who was wearing the distinctive hat with cartoon eyes on the front, asked for room rates at the Travelodge, 105 Riverside Parkway, at about 12:45 p.m. July 24. He then brandished a gun and demanded money.

The man left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
