WARNER ROBINS -- A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night at the intersection of Russell Parkway and South Davis Drive, police said.

Donta Orlando Wilson of Bonaire, who was driving a 2002 Suzuki GSXR 750 motorcycle, died at the scene from his injuries, according to a Warner Robins police news release issued Tuesday.

John Lebarron Seals of Mobile, Alabama, who was driving a 2009 Chrysler 300, was not injured, the release said.

Based on the preliminary investigation, here’s what police say happened:

Shortly before 6:40 p.m., Seals, who was traveling west on Russell Parkway, attempted to turn left onto South Davis Drive and failed to yield the right of way to Wilson who was traveling east on Russell Parkway in the right lane. Both lanes of Russell Parkway at that intersection had a green light at the time of the crash. The motorcycle struck the right front wheel/fender of the car.

Warner Robins police Sgt. Randy Evans said no charges have been filed at this time, and the crash is under investigation.
