Macon man indicted in alleged rape of teenage girl

Bibb County grand jurors indicted a 48-year-old Macon man Tuesday on allegations he forced a teenage girl to have sex with him between November 2011 and February 2012.

L.J. Roquemore is charged with rape, according to an indictment filed Tuesday in Bibb County Superior Court.

Roquemore's lawyer has said some of the alleged incidents were during time that his client was jailed.

He has been held at the Bibb County jail since his arrest last August. His bond is listed at $55,200, according to jail records.
