Two lanes of Interstate 75 will be closed for construction some nights this week in Monroe County, the Georgia Department of Transportation said.

The closures are expected 8 p.m.-5 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Work will be done on the two right-most southbound lanes of I-75 between mile markers 180 and 178, which are between the Rumble Road exit and the northernmost interchange of Interstate 475.

Drivers should be cautious and drive slowly through the work zone, the Georgia Department of Transportation said.
