Additional details were released Tuesday in the alleged May 19 rape of a woman at her Bloomfield Drive home including charges relating to five children who were at home during the assault.

Ronnie Chatfield, 49, of Ibex Street, is charged with rape, aggravated sodomy, aggravated assault, four counts of cruelty to children and five counts of terroristic threats, according to an indictment filed Tuesday in Bibb County Superior Court.

Authorities have said Chatfield raped a 28-year-old woman after binding her hands and threatening her with a knife.

Tuesday's indictment also alleges he struck her with a board.

Chatfield allegedly threw one child against a wall, kicked another child, choked a girl, and threatened to kill all five of the children.
