A 23-year-old Macon man was indicted Tuesday in the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl at a motel off Eisenhower Parkway.

Daryl Terrell Haywood, of Schley Street, is charged with rape, false imprisonment, statutory rape and two counts of child molestation, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court.

Haywood allegedly lured the girl into a motel room on May 31, 2013, and forced her to have sex, according to the indictment.

He was indicted in September in a separate case on charges of armed robbery and kidnapping. That case still is pending in Bibb County Superior Court, according to court records.

Haywood is being held at the Bibb County jail on $165,200 bond, according to jail records.
