Making a new home

Hornets work inside their nest on the window of Donna Adams home in Warner Robins.

Adams said the nest appeared about two weeks ago and was about one and a half inches round. Since it has grown to almost 5 inches across.

She said she was surprised when she opened the drapes and saw how big it had grown.

"I thought it was amazing. I've seen a hornets' nest before. But I thought this was unique that I could see the inside of it," Adams said.

Most of her seven grandchildren have seen the nest so she plans to remove it by the end of the week before it becomes too big.
