Hall, Coursey to play in NBA Summer Leagues

June 28, 2014

Former Mercer men’s basketball standouts Langston Hall and Daniel Coursey have each agreed to terms with NBA teams to compete in the annual NBA Summer Leagues. Coursey has a verbal commitment with the Boston Celtics, while Hall will join up with the Miami Heat.

The NBA sponsors two Summer Leagues, the first of which being the Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League at the Amway Center in Orlando from July 5-11. The Samsung NBA Summer League is set to run from July 11-21 in Las Vegas. Hall’s Heat will compete in both events, while Coursey’s Celtics are scheduled for the Orlando event only. Both leagues feature recent draft picks as well as undrafted rookies and free agents. NBA TV will televise both Summer Leagues.Additionally, fans are able to watch every game live on NBA.com and on the NBA Game Time app.

Fellow 2014 Mercer graduate Anthony White Jr. signed a professional contract to play for the Geelong Supercats of Australia earlier this week. The Geelong Supercats are part of the eight-team Southeast Australian Basketball League (SEABL).
